Job Description
A Robotic Welding Operator sets up, programs, and monitors robotic welding cells to produce consistent, high-quality welds on repeat production parts.
You load components into fixtures, run and fine-tune robot welding programs, and monitor the welding process for defects such as porosity, undercut, or poor penetration. You carry out first-off inspections on new jobs, adjust robot paths and welding parameters where needed, and perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on the welding cell to minimise downtime.
Experience with robotic welding systems (such as ABB, KUKA, or Panasonic) is a strong advantage, along with a solid understanding of welding processes and metal fabrication. This role suits someone comfortable working with automated equipment in a structured production environment.
